The UniPROBE

The UniPROBE is a repository for the experimental data from universal protein binding microarray (PBM) experiments (Berger et al., 2006) and their accompanying statistical analyses. This site hosts the data from the publications listed in the references section of this site.

Who we are

The UniPROBE is hosted by the Bulyk lab, which is part of the Division of Genetics at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston. For more information on the Bulyk Lab, please visit our research and publications pages.

Data sources

External links and annotations were retrived from iHOP (information hyperlinked over proteins) and SGD (Saccharomyces Genome Database). These data were assembled on November 22nd, 2007, for the Berger et al., Cell 2008 publication, on February 27th, 2008, for the Zhu et al., Genome Research 2009 publication, and on August 16, 2008 for all other publications. The Database was populated with PBM data from the papers listed on our references page.

Citing this database

When referring to this database, please cite our submitted manuscript describing the UniPROBE database: Hume MA, Barrera LA, Gisselbrecht SS, Bulyk ML. UniPROBE, update 2015: new tools and content for the online database of protein-binding microarray data on protein-DNA interactions. Nucleic Acids Research 2014; doi: 10.1093/nar/gku1045. When referring to the data in this database, please be sure to cite the relevant paper(s) that are the primary source of the data (please see the References section above).
